Konado Visual Novel Creative Week
You don’t need to be an expert programmer. You just need a story to tell.
Make a visual novel with Godot and Konado. This beginner-friendly jam gives you room to experiment, tell your own stories, and share them with an audience. It could be your first visual novel—or your first step into indie game development.
1. About the Event
Hosted by GodotHub’s Konado Project, this jam helps creators make visual novels with Godot and Konado. Selected entries will appear in the GodotHub Visual Novels, where new creators can share their work, find an audience, and build a portfolio.
2. Rules
- This is a non-profit creative exchange. The organizer provides open-source plugins, a creation platform, technical support, showcases, and community services, but does not participate in producing entries or dividing their copyright. The organizer reserves the right to interpret the event rules.
- Every submission must be original. Plagiarism, unauthorized redistribution, or misuse of another person’s artwork, writing, music, or other material is prohibited. Submissions must also comply with applicable law, ethical standards, and the Core Socialist Values. Creators are responsible for consequences arising from rule violations, infringement, or unlawful content.
- Every entry must use Godot 4.6.3 or later, be developed with Konado 2.4 LTS, and include a Web build. Copyright remains with the creator. Entries may be used to promote the event and showcase the ecosystem, and the organizer receives a perpetual right to use the submitted version.
- The organizer is not responsible for lost work, failed submissions, or inability to participate when caused by a participant’s device failure, operational error, network problem, failure to follow engine or plugin guidance, late submission, or another personal circumstance. When event conditions require it, the organizer may adjust the schedule, judging rules, or promotional arrangements after publishing notice.
