About the Community
GodotHub is one of China’s leading Godot communities, supporting game creators through our forum, desktop app, WeChat, QQ, and Discord groups. We help developers across China discover and use Godot. Since 2023, we have hosted GodotHub Festival each year, now the largest competition in China’s Godot community.
Members of our forum contribute code and documentation to Godot. When Microsoft mistakenly removed our desktop app, the Godot Foundation helped us document our right to use the GodotHub name. And when we submitted a pull request to update our community listing on the Godot website, the Foundation’s Emi replied in Chinese: Thank you! We plan to host more Godot Meetups across China, with the Godot Foundation joining when possible.
GodotHub Festival
GodotHub Festival is an annual competition where developers turn their ideas into games and software with Godot. It began in 2023 with UnionTech as co-host, followed by events with the OpenAtom openKylin community in 2024 and 2025. Each Festival brings more developers and open-source communities together.
CSDN and GitCode later joined as sponsors, alongside small businesses and community members. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Festival.
